Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Ascension is actively seeking an experienced Senior Specialist to join our dynamic Brand Creative team. This pivotal role involves supporting the work of the creative team by providing new copy for advertising, marketing collaterals, digital display ads, TV, video and radio scripts, marketing web landing pages, emails, social posts and other brand expressions. The ideal candidate will be a conceptual thinker who brings big ideas to life through differentiated and unexpected concepts, strategically ensuring messaging conveys engaging solutions across different media to consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Partner with Strategists, Creative Directors/leads, and members of our creative team to bring insight-driven creative concepts to life with thought-provoking creative solutions

+ Copy responsibilities vary and may include producing creative headlines, advertorials, SEO content, calls to action, email, social and web copy, advertising and branding copy or technical copy

+ Use strong conceptual thinking to develop meaningful, targeted content that resonates with various consumer audiences along points in the healthcare consumer journey

+ Apply your expertise in the development of a wide range of cross-channel creative such as campaign integration, video, web pages, digital display, social, email, and print collateral

+ Ability to consume research and performance information/data and provide performance-based frameworks to create aligned messaging

+ Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends, while keeping the pulse of advertising and design industry shifts and best practices

+ Confidently articulate creative ideas within internal creative reviews and brainstorms

+ Act as a steward for our brand, responsible for maintaining consistency of Ascension language and writing styling across all experiences

+ Partner with market management and strategy teams to ensure creative is on brief, on time and on strategy

Requirements

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

Qualifications:

+ Educational Background:

+ Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

+ Experience:

+ 5+ years of direct-to-consumer brand, healthcare, hospitality, or financial services industry experience

+ Creativity and Innovation:

+ A sharp attention to detail when creating assets and messaging

+ A big thinker, tirelessly searching for the breakthrough ideas and concepts

+ Copy responsibilities vary and may include producing creative headlines, advertorials, SEO content, calls to action, email, social and web copy, advertising and branding copy or technical copy.

+ A world-class portfolio that demonstrates conceptual work with flawless execution across all channels (must include examples of digital, social, print, motion, and identity work)

+ Proficient in Google Suite, experience with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud a plus.

+ Project Management:

+ Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.

+ Communication Skills:

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills, working effectively in cross-functional teams.

+ Adaptability:

+ Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing creative landscape.
