job summary:
A Material Coordinator is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the East Moline, IL area. The Material Coordinator oversees the efficient flow of materials across multiple factory departments, ensuring timely procurement, production, and delivery while addressing inventory accuracy, shortages, and production schedule adjustments.

responsibilities:
+ Coordinate material flow in multiple factory departments, including shipping and receiving.
+ Ensure production personnel have necessary parts for desired product production.
+ Oversee and ensure correct and timely inventoIdentify problems and make suggestions regarding production schedules.
+ Identify and correct root cause of material shortages, may provide solutions.
+ Utilize Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
+ Process transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
+ Audit material replenishment cycles and accuracy, may create replenishment plans.
Skills:
+ strong Work Ethic.
+ Ability to multitask and work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
+ Problem solving skills.
+ Computer savvy.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
+ Experience with SAP, or a similar inventory tracking system, is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree recommended but not required.
