Primary responsibility is to assist the Art Gallery Curator with daily tasks such as: hanging art work in the gallery and around campus and answering questions about the art in the gallery.
Other occasional responsibilities may include assistance with:
- Moving art pedestals, paintings and sculpture to storage or into gallery
- Taking photos of artwork
- Organizing artwork
- Social Media and graphic design
Required Qualification(s)- Must be a CLC student enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours for the fall or three (3) credit hours for the summer
- Must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Attach an availability schedule with application
Desired Qualification(s)Prefer art student or DMD student
Posting Date Special Instructions SummaryStudent will receive training in display and Art Department and gallery procedures.
Pay Rate $14.00 Location Grayslake Total Hours per week 5-20 Work ScheduleMonday through Thursday depending on Department needs and student class schedule
9 or 10 am to 4 pm2, occasional evenings
