The Research and Development Department is seeking interns to assist with product testing, quality checks, and specification verification and updates. The R&D intern will have a summer project that they will lead and be expected to report out at the end of the internship. This position will report to the Research and Development Director.
Responsibilities:
Assist on setting up plant trials
Execute plant trials documenting equipment settings, product parameters and cooking/ chilling observations
Review and interpret data to provide recommendations and next steps
Collect samples for lab analyses to assure that product meets specifications
Perform routine data entry in computer
Other duties may be assigned on an as needed basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
Currently enrolled in a college/university earning a degree in Food Science/Biology or similar undergraduate field
Interest in R&D/Production Development
