Job Description
Maintenance Technician
$30 – $35 per hour
Minooka, IL
An established distribution center is looking to hire maintenance technicians to join their team. 401(k) and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.
Description:
-Preventative maintenance on the conveyor systems and the PIT equipment.
-Read and understand technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) to repair/maintain equipment.
-Troubleshoot complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.
-Daily perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
-2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (for example, forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment)
-Experience in blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Experience Level:
Entry Level
Shifts: Tuesday – Friday 3:30 pm – 1:30 am or Weekend Saturday – Monday 5:30 pm – 5:00 am
