Job Description

CDW Technologies LLC seeks a Sr. Engineer Integrated Apps – Managed Services to perform the following duties:

• Provide technical support for Prognosis Monitoring and other third-party applications leveraged by CDW’s Managed Services to support CDW’s service catalog and operations.
• Responsible for the availability, improvements to, and expansion of the Prognosis toolset, which provides performance management and analytics for enterprise communications, collaboration and payment systems. 
• Translate requirements into application solutions using both front-end and back-end programming languages (Python, C++, Node js, JavaScript, SQL, C#, Git, etc.).
• Develop and maintain Prognosis UC Monitoring application and related software solutions to CDW standards and quality.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure service continuity as new solutions are implemented.
• Ensure service continuity for key applications by responding to issues in accordance with defined resolution standards.
• Work with technology owners and stakeholders to formalize requirements and business needs.
• Collaborate with peers to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to optimize workflows, including automation of manual tasks.
• Mentor and provide application design oversight for non-senior members of the team.
• Serve as a member of on-call rotation to provide 24 X 7 support to critical systems and ensure availability objectives are met.
• Utilize a variety of other technologies such as ServiceNow, SL1, Microsoft Office.

The job is based out of CDW’s Vernon Hills, IL headquarters but the employee may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
