Job Description

We are currently seeking a Broker Account Manager for the Flower Seeds team in North America. As the Broker Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned broker accounts andWork with them to determine plans and strategies for sales growth.

What you will be doing?

Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets to deliver wholesale channel sales at assigned accounts
Coordinate product knowledge training for broker sales staff
Document customer needs and develop tactics to turn conversion opportunities into sales
Track sales performance at each assigned account to identify risks and opportunities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, and manage all customer-related issues
Participate in relevant trial events throughout the year whether industry-wide or specific individual growers
Travel to grower-customer sites with broker sales reps as needed

Qualifications

What sets you apart?
Bachelor's degreein Horticulture and/or Business or equivalent in experience
Sales acumen & key account management with commercial/ customer orientation
Understanding of the North American flowers business, value chain, competitor dynamics, customers, and key growers
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with strong written/verbal communication and negotiating skills
Strong customer focus with leadership, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to help in all areas of operations as workload requires
Will need to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests during peak periods of activity
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
This is a remote position and 50% overnight travel is expected
