Job Summary:
Liaises with study website developer, develops study recruitment materials and advertisements, manages study recruitment advertisement campaigns.
This position will report to the NUDACC Director of Research Oversight & Compliance. NUDACC (https://www.feinberg.northwestern.edu/sites/nudacc/) consists of two tightly integrated teams: the data analysis team, and the project management/compliance team. This position sits on the project management side with database responsibilities. While this position closely communicates with the data analysis team, this position will NOT have direct data analysis or programming responsibilities. This position will focus the Liver Cirrhosis Network studies (https://www.lcnstudy.org).
This position is housed within the Northwestern University Data Analysis and Coordination Center (NUDACC: https://www.feinberg.northwestern.edu/sites/nudacc/) within the Department of Preventive Medicine, Division of Biostatistics.
Specific Responsibilities:
Technical
Leads execution & control of a biomedical &/or social science project or research study.
Coordinates processing of data, conduct of experimental tests & procedures
Develops new &/or revised research methodologies.
Ensures completion of study activities per protocol including recruitment.
Assists with IRB submissions and manages regulatory documents.
Develops recruitment materials and manages study recruitment advertising campaigns.
Queries data under supervision of a Quality Assurance Monitor or a Research Project Manager.
Administration
Oversees & manages collection, maintenance, analysis & evaluation of data that will be used in grant submissions, presentations & publications.
Ensures that information is entered correctly into databases.
Assists in reviewing and summarizing tables, charts, & graphs.
Coordinates between sponsoring agencies, collaborating organizations &/or other research &/or educational institutions.
Ensures that all study documents associated with current local, state, & federal regulatory guidelines, requirements, laws & research protocols are completed in a timely manner.
Manages document version control.
Develops recruitment and advertising material (flyers, fact sheets, recruitment graphs, newsletters) for multi-site studies.
Finance
Manages lab/study budget & inventory including purchasing of supplies & services ensuring that they are necessary, reasonable & project related.
Orders & maintains inventory of study supplies.
Distributes intra-departmental charges.
Negotiates with vendors, obtain quotes & arrange for demos of large equipment.
Supervision
Acts as a mentor in regard to education of junior coordinators.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
Computer expertise include literacy in Microsoft Office, internet and database use.
Preferred Qualifications: (Education and experience)
Previous experience working with the REDCap Database, specifically, querying.
Previous experience working on multi-site biomedical studies, including experience with study-start up training and maintenance training.
Ability to multi-task, reprioritize based on network needs, and adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
Ability to become fluent in PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator with access to online asynchronous courses.
Ability to learn how to explain complex processes.
Target hiring range for this position will be between $49,850-$62,595 per year.
