Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary 
 The Graduate Assistant (GA) for the Office of University Advancement will perform fundraising research, reporting, analysis, communications and stewardship. This GA will report to the Executive Director of Development and the GA may be required to support projects/events (on and off campus) such as the Signum Fidei Celebration, President's Circle Dinner, Alumni Day, Scholarship Orientation, Donor luncheons and stewardship events, Commencement, and other events, on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities 
 Responsible to model the University Mission and foster a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, by providing dedicated job performance, excellent customer service, respectful and collegial collaboration, respectful and constructive feedback, and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.

Assist in the execution of the major gifts program with the following non-exhaustive list of responsibilities:

-Prospect research (individuals, corporations, and foundations)
-Market assessment and strategic planning
-Gift officer portfolio management and reporting
-Donor stewardship initiatives
-Website and social media maintenance, editing, updates and reporting
-Donor profile creation and maintenance
-Data collection projects and constituent records database maintenance
-Donor prequalification outreach and appointment confirmation
-Perform any additional related tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications 
 Bachelor's degree required. Must be a graduate student enrolled in one of Lewis University's graduate programs who has the skills and interests related to research, reporting, communications, market analysis, and external relations. Demonstrated computer software proficiency with the Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Oral and written communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are required.
