Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing research and assists in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies.

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

-This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of three (3) days in-office visibility per week in a posted HCSC office on an ongoing basis. **

-HCSC cannot consider candidates for this role who do or will require sponsorship for employment visa now or at any time in the future.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Bachelor's Degree
OR
One (1) year of experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy.

-Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional role.

-Typically requires a college or university degree OR the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.

-Receives significant instruction, guidance and direction from others.

-Uses existing procedures to solve routine or basic problems.

-Learns needed skills by performing assigned work.

-Learns to work autonomously.
