Job Description

Responsible for the full life cycle of SAP (ECC/S4HANA) projects as well as Manufacturing (PP-PI) and planning module design, configuration, and testing. Partner with the Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing and Quality functional groups both IT and Business to assess Solution needs utilizing structured interview/insight processes to establish business priorities and document clear requirements. Conduct investigation and collaborate with other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution systems (MES) Integration technical subject matter experts to provide solution advice on adoption or integration of new technologies and corresponding business impact. Develop required & alternative IT technical solutions by advising on technical configurations, solution options, IT/Business risks, costs and benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities. Provide IT functional configuration expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, SAP APO/Integrated Business planning (IBP), SAP Material requirements planning, SAP Production planning / Process Industries, Manufacturing Execution Systems to develop, test and implement significant new solutions. Responsible for Manufacturing Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI), including Process Orders, Master data and Integration to related processes. Configure applicable module(s) to design optimal solution. Review, validate and enhance design, conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning. Responsible for employing planning methods and knowledge of various strategies, capacity management, handling and storage unit management, and planning board functionality. Install, test and upgrade releases and associated products. Evaluate SAP notes, new functionality, and upcoming releases for assigned modules. Responsible for integrating SAP with non-SAP systems, including internally developed and off-the-shelf software. Recommend operational improvements or devise new approaches to technical or process issues to meet business objectives. Facilitate resolution of cross-team integrated topics such as Order to Cash, Procurement, Finance, Warehousing, and Quality. Responsible for interface mapping with legacy/3rd party applications (MES). Develop, motivate, and provide direction to technical/Vendor team in a way that facilitates the creation of a team environment and enables team to fulfill the department's operation objectives. Lead in the development of standards and procedures and publish/communicate findings via IOI’s, presentations, white papers, etc. Comply with all applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
