Position: Supervisor, Business Operations
Location: Skokie, IL
Full Time: 40 hrs
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p
Required Travel: as needed

What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree required
Preference for coursework in Analytics/Computer Science
Minimum 2 years of analytics, statistics, or report writing experience
Strong communications skills
Ability to organize/summarize large data sets and trends

What you will do:
Manage and analyze perioperative services data using the most current systems application by designing and creating reports that identify surgical volume, operating room utilization, cost/supplies utilization/containment, to maximize revenues and charge capture for perioperative services at Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie hospitals. Build tools for our operations leaders to efficiently manage their departments and workflows.
Provides analytics (the combination of predictive/descriptive models and tools that guide decision making) that support data-driven decision making for leaders in both clinical and administrative settings. This includes gathering, analyzing and reporting on various types of data and communicating results of analysis to corporate and divisional management as well as developing tools that recommend action and guide decision-making. This position interfaces with customers at all levels of the organization as well as liaise with external vendors, consultants, and collaborating firms. This position will require an understanding of how the application of analytical techniques correlate to business value and will necessitate being able to select the appropriate analytical techniques for the problem at hand.
Manages schedule and staff expectations for all Information Specialists in Perioperative Business Services. Responsible for performance management and operational efficiency for the team of Information Specialists.
