Job Summary:
The Health Promotion Specialist delivers high quality, evidence-based and -informed health promotion programs and services to students. This position is primarily student-facing, and will work with individual students and student groups.
Note: Occasional night and weekend work will be required.
Pay: The pay range for the Health Promotion Specialist position is $55,000-59,000 depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Principal Accountabilities:
Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students (BASICS) 50%
- Program Administration
- Service Delivery
Brief Motivational Interventions and Consultation 25%
- Provide brief motivational interventions on a range of health and wellness-related topics, including, but not limited to sleep, stress reduction, alcohol and tobacco cessation, and exercise.
