Polar Operations LLC d/b/a IMC Markets (Chicago, IL) seeks an experienced professional Data Analytics Lead to represent the people analytics function throughout the IMC organization.

Job Duties: Represent the people analytics function throughout the IMC organization. Collect and transform the organizational and human resources data into actionable insights to optimize IMC’s recruiting and talent retention strategies. Articulate and execute IMC’s people analytics vision and strategy; Manage and enhance IMC’s people analytics technology and facilitate the creation and implementation of people analytics principles that are usable, actionable, and scalable as the organization’s needs evolve. Lead a team of data analysts and software developers to collect and analyze organizational data by formulating and applying mathematical modeling and other data analytics methods to develop and implement data analyses, visualizations, and predictive analytics to provide people trends and insights to organizational leadership. Provide a vision, strategy, and approach to develop and implement people analytics technology that is scalable, efficient, and automated to enable simple and complex data analysis. Partner with business leaders and HR functional groups to develop a standard set of HR and talent key performance indicators (KPIs). Execute the people analytics vision and strategy, enabling solutions that cut across the entire employee lifecycle in alignment with HR, finance, and business leadership priorities, stakeholder requirements, and business unit requirements. Create and implement common methodology and tools for project management, data governance, modeling, and hypothesis testing that is scientifically rigorous. Maintain operational excellence on the people analytics team to ensure the highest quality methods are utilized to gather and manage large datasets from multiple sources, transforming or cleaning data as necessary. Develop standard process for operationalizing insights and discoveries and then partner with stakeholders to promote adoption of these processes throughout the organization. Position manages a cross-functional team of operations research analysts and software developers.

Job Requirements: This position requires at least a bachelor's degree in I/O psychology, statistics, international relations, international business, or similarly quantitative and analytical field plus thirty-six months' experience with people analytics, data analytics, or other occupation with similar analytics focus. To perform the duties of the position, successful candidates must also have demonstrated proficiency in each of the following: (1) Research design, data visualization techniques, and exposure to machine learning or data regression models; (2) Using Python, SQL, and Qlik/Tableau to design and implement ETL/data pipelines to support continuous delivery of insights; (3) Using data analytics and visualization techniques to analyze organizational problems, develop data-driven solutions, and design performance metrics and KPIs; (4) Managing multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment; (5) Building and managing cross-functional data analytics teams. Position requires approximately 25% international travel to IMC offices abroad.
