Job Title:Reagent Manufacturing Technician
Location:Stillwater, MN

Job Scope
This position is responsible for material processing, reagent formulation, technical manufacturing, in-process quality control of reagents, components, and in-vitro diagnostic products in accordance with GMP and ISO requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

Perform technical manufacturing of reagents -basic and intermediate builds.

Provide in-process Quality Control for all products with amount of guidance determined by complexity level.

Utilize basic SAP (order to cost center, kitting of materials) to ensure accurate inventory and accounting.

Perform validation testing with some guidance from a Process Scientist.

Participate in inventory accountability - PSA counts, cycle counts, accurate kitting, etc.

Maintain clean work space in QC and Reagent prep labs.

Contribute to group reagent preparation and QC duties including lab and equipment maintenance.

Participate in team meetings (production planning, troubleshooting sessions, etc.).

Follow all Regulatory Requirements - Follow document instructions and maintain good documentation of error rates.

Ensure the maintenance of proper documents by correcting any documentation errors.

Help with basic new employee training when at appropriate experience level.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of related laboratory experience
Basic understanding of laboratory science
Basic knowledge of general lab equipment (e.g. pH meters, balances, mixers, etc.)
SAP knowledge
Ability to work in a regulated environment
Attention to detail
