Dover Corporation is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant to support the activities of the VP of Information Technology as well as a variety of other projects and activities supporting Dover's executive management. This person will report to the Team and coordinate activities/projects as needed.

The Executive Assistant's duties will include the following:
Significant responsibility for handling domestic/international travel, calendar, correspondence and other scheduled communications; special communications; and handling inquiries and requests from Leadership Team
Significant responsibility for coordinating and supporting executive meetings/Projects, before, during and after respective event(s)
Planning and coordinating domestic and international flights, local travel, hotel and related arrangements including visas and meals
Supporting other executives, as they may relate to Segment needs on special projects and other activities
Preparing correspondence and other written material as requested by the Leadership Team

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
Associate degree or a paralegal certificate at a minimum; BA/BS from an accredited 4-year undergraduate institution preferred
At least 4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant to senior officers of a public company
High personal ethical standards
Exceptional communication skills - listening, speaking and writing
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well with directors, executives and other employees
Sound judgment, tact and discretion; know when to ask questions or seek guidance
Well organized with strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; ability to effectively communicate work load and work flow
Understand, appreciate and work effectively within Dover's culture
Analytical and detail-oriented
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, enthusiastic, pro-active and willing to learn
Ability to handle multiple tasks with limited supervision
Strong sense of responsibility
Flexible and have the ability to work overtime if necessary
