Position: Instrumental and Electrical Technician
Primary Location: Toledo, OH
Schedule: day shift, M-F
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Compensation:  $46.26/hr, non-exempt
Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and location. The hourly rate displayed on each job posting reflects the starting rate for new hires for the position. Rates may also be determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific rate factors for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process, as some facilities are subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements. About This Role and You

The primary focus of our Instrumentation & Electrical Technician at our Toledo Sulfuric Acid plant is to install, repair, and maintain electrical and instrument equipment.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Five years of industry experience in instrumentation and electrical apprenticeship
Associate degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Technology or Electricians License, preferred
Ability to use computer effectively, Microsoft programs, maintenance management system, e-mail, etc.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer's literature, diagrams or schematics.
Must be able to complete specific job function training and/or certification programs.
Must be capable of occasionally working in protective clothing and equipment such as: acid suits, rain suits, self-contained breathing apparatus, face shields, hoods
Medical Requirement

Physical Demands/Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision. Must be physically capable of spending long hours outdoors and occasionally work in protected clothing and equipment. Ability to climb stairs and ladders (including vertical).

Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must be able to install and troubleshoot up to a minimum of 120-volt circuits.
Calibrate and program all instrumentation equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain variable frequency drives.
Diagnose and make repairs on all automatic valves, electrical starters, motors, pneumatic and electronic instrumentation.
Read/write schematics, red lines, wiring diagrams and PLC logic.
Maintain electrical inventory for critical control boards, relays, contacts, starters, and
emissions equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain emission monitoring equipment.
Assist onsite electrician with conduit installations, wire pulls.
Testing of safety interlocks and maintain testing equipment.
Understand and support Chemtrade Environmental, Health& Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
Immediately report all EH&S incidents (injuries, near misses, releases).
Complete all required EH&S training
