Duties and Responsibilities 
 Loyola University Health System at MacNeal invites applications for a full-time clinical practice gastroenterologist. The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in general gastroenterology as well as a focused clinical interest and expertise in a specific area including but not limited to allergic diseases of the GI tract, genetic risk for GI cancers, and esophageal disease. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment. The successful candidate will be at the rank of Assistant Professor.

 

MacNeal Hospital is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn, Illinois offering advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, an inpatient skilled nursing facility and a 68-bed behavioral health program and community clinics. MacNeal provides quality health care for families in the near western suburbs and the city of Chicago and is consistently expanding its scope of services to ensure optimal care for every generation. MacNeal is part of Loyola Medicine, a three-hospital system that includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal as well as convenient locations offering primary care, specialty care and immediate care services from more than 1,800 physicians throughout Cook, Will and DuPage counties. Loyola Medicine is part of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation with 92 hospitals in 22 states.
