Responsibilities:
The School of Continuing and Professional Studies at DePaul University invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty course development and teaching opportunities, with particular focus on the following fields: diversity, equity, and inclusion; entrepreneurship; healthcare, wellness, and fitness; leadership of mission-based organizations; public safety and security. Opportunities to develop and teach courses are available throughout the year. Course schedules fluctuate, and the School will work with selected individuals to determine a clear schedule. Courses are not guaranteed; however the School does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations. Online courses are taught using the Desire2Learn (D2L) learning management system.
Required Qualifications:
Experience teaching or training adult professionals
Demonstrated success teaching in diverse environments
Knowledge of adult learning pedagogy
Bachelor's or master's degree and/or certified training in subject area
