Job Description

DRW HOLDINGS LLC IN CHICAGO, IL SEEKS DATA SYSTEMS OPERATIONS ANALYST (POSITION ID DA/IL/N068) to perform the following job duties: Develop and implement analytics to transform key parts of sophisticated market data analysis pipelines. Help verify, clean, and ensure data is accurate and consistent across systems used for research and analysis by various trading teams globally. Work closely with traders, researchers and engineers to improve data quality and coverage. Resolve data exceptions. Collect metrics and analyze datasets for completeness, validity, integrity and relevancy. Perform preliminary root cause analysis and make recommendations for modifications in data pipelines to increase data quality. Monitor and troubleshoot production jobs. Monitor and work through list of data-related issues raised by system, drilling into those requiring action. Consult with developers to determine appropriate courses of action and make suggestions for improvements to the system.

 Requirements: Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate systems analysis or systems engineering experience.

Experience to include:

1. Exchange data including native protocols;
2. Java;
3. Databases and query construction with SQL;
4. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks and projects, and efficiently handle the multiple, competing demands;
5. Cloud provider such as S3, Athena, Azure, or AWS;
6. Ability to create monitoring processes for emerging issues;
7. Experience with large-scale data for financial systems;
8. Strong familiarity working in a UNIX style environment (UNIX, LINUX or MAC);
9. Familiarity with modern electronic trading systems and order lifecycles; and,
10. Python.
