Job Description
Sr. Developers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Design software applications, deploy designs into production, and monitor the health of applications. Research existing technologies and architecture standards. Participate in team planning ceremonies, and software development pipeline. Communicate on software designs and process improvements, provide design snippets, examples, integrations, and comment on development design and solutions presented by development teams. Develop high throughput, highly available, horizontally scalable applications. Mentor junior developers. Technical environment: Java development, Spring Boot, MVC; Cassandra, relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres), Linux, containerization; Kubernetes; Git; Maven, Gradle; messaging technologies (ActiveMQ, Kafka); microservices; AWS, GCP; REST Web Services, SOAP Web Services; Agile. 37.5hrs/wk.
