As a Driver at Crisp Container, you'll be instrumental in our mission to deliver goods safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be transporting various types of cargo while adhering to industry regulations and maintaining our company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain company-owned trucks.
- Transport freight to designated locations promptly and securely.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues by effectively communicating with dispatch and customers.
- Demonstrate professionalism and exceptional customer service skills in all interactions.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and clean at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (endorsements are a plus)
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to handle and transport various types of cargo
