Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a CNC Mill Machinist located in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the CNC Mill Machinist role involves performing a variety of complex, specialized tasks related to the construction, repair, maintenance, and calibration of machine shop tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and instruments.
What a typical day looks like:
- Operates various machine shop equipment such as CNC mills, CMMs, and automation cells to produce a variety of small parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances.
- Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) vertical mills with Makino/Fanuc controller and Roeders controller.
- Performs machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
- Checks machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
- Required to operate numerical control machines.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- High School diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training
- Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of Tooling
- CNC Milling experience required
- CMM experience preferred
- Electrode manufacturing preferred
- 3R Automation experience preferred
