We are currently seeking a qualified Sales Administrator to become a valuable addition to our sales team, contributing to the realization of our goals. In this role, you will function as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to products, orders, and tracking, offering essential support to our sales representatives. Your primary focus will be on servicing and managing accounts, involving tasks such as account maintenance, updating customer records, and providing support through various communication channels and portals. Projects, including those completed in Excel, will be part of your responsibilities, along with tasks such as confirming pricing, overseeing order fulfillment, requesting freight quotes, and managing order entries. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a keen attention to detail and a strong ability to problem-solve effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

Account Maintenance and Administration:
Conduct comprehensive account maintenance and administrative tasks to support operational efficiency

Comprehensive Project Oversight:
Manage the completion of projects, overseeing tasks such as product uploads, portal management, and spreadsheet data entry and manipulation

Daily Task Management:
Handle daily tasks such as pricing updates, responding to phone calls, emails, and obtaining freight quotes

Order Discrepancy Resolution:
Ensure timely resolution of order discrepancies, maintaining orders pending approval through swift customer communication

Order Processing:
Efficiently process and enter orders, ensuring accuracy in both data and invoices

Customer Communication:
Proactively reach out to customers for missing information or to address product-related inquiries

CRM Record Management:
Create and maintain precise customer records within the CRM system (Salesforce)

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interacting with other departments including customer service, purchasing, marketing, accounting, order entry

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Representative
Experience managing customer accounts including pricing, freight quotes and order entry
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail
High proficiency in problem solving
Strong written and verbal skill

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

3-5 years sales experience
College degree preferred

Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

Outlook and Teams
Experience using CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred)
Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) to review sales orders, customer, pricing, sales, product data, etc.
