Position Highlights:
Position:Starbucks Barista
Location: Edward Hospital
Part Time
Hours: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-7:00pm with rotating weekends 8am-3:30pm

A Brief Overview:
This position will create the Starbucks experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt assistance, quality beverages and products and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Serves customers, operates the POS system, prepares food, cleans area and assists with all food service duties.

What you will need:
High School Degree or in Progress of obtaining
1 Year Coffee Shop Experience Preferred
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills
Detail oriented
Ability to learn quickly and follow verbal and written instructions
Team player qualities
Positive and approachable manner
Customer service skills and knowledge
Successful completion of a Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position Required

What you will do:
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. This includes knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of patients served and the ability to respond appropriately to those needs.
Serves customers and takes orders.
Prepares and serves hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages.
Describes menu items and suggests products to customers.
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues
Receives and processes customer payments.
Receives and distributes stock supplies.
Communicates information to manager so the team can respond to create the appropriate environment during each shift.
Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils and equipment.
Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge the promotes the culture, values and mission of the EEH System and Starbucks.
