Position Summary 
 This position is a full-time grant-funded position and will end upon termination of the grant.

The Project Coordinator ANEW (PC ANEW) will be responsible for coordinating the project's day-to-day activities and providing support services for the Dean and College.

The main objectives of the ANEW grant at USF include:
Recruit, train, develop, support, and evaluate preceptors as program partners to enhance community-based clinical nursing education;
Integrate the HRSA Health Resource Connector into the USF curriculum to connect graduates with employment opportunities in rural and underserved areas;
Increase awareness of telehealth programs and facilitate the integration of telehealth into FNP and PMHNP curricula and WCCHC services, and;
Establish mechanisms to track and network USF NP graduates after graduation to verify compliance with the program mandates and support continued success in providing care to underserved areas.
Organize and implement longitudinal immersive clinical training experiences and traineeships for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Health Nurse Practitioner students
Essential Duties & Responsibilities 
 Uphold and fulfill the mission, vision, values, and traditions of the LCON.
Establish an innovative academic-clinical partnership with the partner agencies.
Assist the Project Director in maintaining accurate documentation of project activities.
Assist the Dean and staff in coordinating, planning, overseeing logistics and comprehensive management of the college.
Facilitate the development of contract with new clinical sites, and collaborates with clinical agency to maintain the currency of all contractual and preceptor agreements.
Administer the Typhon software, NP Student Tracking System, an electronic system that tracks students' clinical encounters for assessment, evaluations, management of student rotation schedules, clinical site and preceptor databases, and preceptor credentials.
Serve as campus liaison to campus administration and to internal and external partners.
Coordinate the flow of incoming communications by receiving, responding, and/or routing to determine the appropriate office, department, or agency.
Schedule precept training with all participants, faculty, preceptors, and administrators.
Communicate with the clinical partners regarding trainees.
Network, track, and support trainees to find meaningful placement in medically underserved communities.
Review, track, and update graduate student annual health compliance requirements through the CastleBranch system, a compliance management company, maintain clinical clearance records on MSN students and preceptors for submission to clinical agencies, including CPR verification, health clearances, background checks, and any required clinical training.
Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement.
Coordinate, collaborate, and perform, with LCON staff and faculty, activities that support the administrative functions of the college.
Respond to students' requests for assistance in a prompt, welcoming, and service-oriented manner that includes, but is not limited to assistance with course registrations, clinical submission status, and change of academic programs.
Prepare and/or copy surveys and reports for distribution to graduate program staff, legal and accrediting bodies, and state and federal agencies, as directed.
Participate in internal and external events that support the college and university.

Minimum Requirements 
 
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work independently and high attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
* Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university
Preferred Requirements 
 Bachelor's degree in related field
Health-related field preferable.
Experience with grantsmanagement
Experience working with medically underserved communities
Hours/Shift/Work Schedule 
 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Physical Requirements of Position 
 Work is performed in an office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
