Purpose of the Job 
            The Production Associate I will perform manufacturing functions associated with building Custom and or BTE Devices.

This position will be based out of Aurora, Illinois.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities 
            May perform any or all of the following Custom device functions
Cut / Trim / Sanding
Lacquer
Tube Installation
Acoustical Testing
May perform any or all of the following BTE functions
BTE Assembly
BTE Repair
BTE Acoustical Testing
Invoicing
Packing
Kitting / Picking
Maintains workstation in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
Visually inspects product, identifies defects / rejects, and escalates issues as required
Performs general routine machine maintenance and daily workstation clean-up
Active participation in quality improvement processes
Initiates process improvements and motivates peers to achieve team goals
Meets established individual and team goals
Flex to various positions as business needs require

Qualifications

Basic Education 
            High School Diploma OR GED / equivalent
Further Education
Work Experience 
            1 – 3 years’ experience in manufacturing

            -Flex to various positions as business needs require
-Able to follow and understand work instructions
-Demonstrated understanding of ESD and handling of material in accordance with established safety procedures
Social Competencies 
            -Willingness to work in a team environment
-Good communication and interpersonal skills

            Ability to communicate and comprehend English
IT skills 
            Basic Computer skills
Further Requirements 
            -Excellent manual dexterity, use of small hand tools and light bench equipment
-Able to read small font
-Able to count, verify, and audit inventory locations
-Able to perform other duties as assigned
-Must be able to stand/walk for 1 hour and sit for 7 hours a day
-Lift weight of up to 20 lbs
-Repetitive motions using both hands
-Must have good vision and the
ability to work with hands and small pieces
