Job Description

Greet customers and run cash register equipment. Process transactions for customers in payment for fuel and merchandise by receiving cash or credit cards, providing correct change, and issuing receipts for each transaction. Activate and process pre-paid cash cards. Maintain store cash control within company standards outlined for stores. Account for merchandise at the beginning and end of each shift. Read and record totals shown on cash register tape and verify against cash on hand. Prepare shift sheet and make sure it balances. Maintain store appearance and perform light cleaning and maintenance duties such as rubbish removal and sweeping.
