Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Aon's Security Operations Center (SOC) aspires to be at the forefront of cybersecurity excellence, driving innovation and best practice to protect our organization and stakeholders from emerging cyber risks.

As the Cybersecurity Operations Manager of the North America Region, you'll play a critical role in supporting this vision. You will drive the team to success by managing ticket triage, event correlation, incident response and other security activities. This position will provide oversight and direction for the America's Security Operations Center (SOC) constituted of a number of leads and analysts, monitoring all systems across a global enterprise footprint as part of a global team.

7+ years of relevant IT Security experience and a demonstrated ability to build and lead impactful teams.
Solid understanding of the security landscape, including prevalent threats, existing technologies, and modern security architectures.
Experience managing teams responsible for incident response and threat intelligence services.
Leadership through collaboration, a bias for action, and experience working within fast-paced, high-performance teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and present security risk concepts with business and technology partners.
Proven creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education
BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related Information Technology field, or equivalent experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $130,000 to $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
