Your Role

As a Gensler Project Architect, you will collaborate with a team of architects and designers to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction administration phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate sketches and documents into realized 3D models and construction drawings and can research technical issues when they arise. You will join a studio focused on Education, Critical Facilities, and Healthcare buildings. What You Will Do

Participate in all phases of design

Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives

Manage project team and coordination of consultants

Produce BIM models and construction drawings

Resolve challenging technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical and constructible solutions

Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development

A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Effective communicator, collaborative and team-conscious

Provide Mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members

Participate in office culture and initiatives

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school

Licensure required

10+ years of experience in the profession of architectural design

Strong experience working with Revit and Rhino

Proficiency with SketchUp, 3D Max, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, but not required

Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants

Experience working directly with contractors

Experience resolving complex technical and design issues

Experience performing zoning and code analysis in multiple jurisdictions

Understanding of how buildings are constructed, along with the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be done

Understanding of sustainable and universal design concepts

Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
