POSITION SUMMARY

William Charles is in search for a staff Accountant. This position will focus on preparing key reconciliations, analysis of key general ledger accounts, working with equipment division, and overall financial statement integrity.

Responsibilities

 

Monitor and process electronic cash transactions from bank accounts daily
Work with equipment division regarding fixed asset accounting and additions/disposals
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts monthly
Record monthly journal entries for several companies
Analyze monthly credit card spend
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 


Qualifications

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:
Extensive general ledger accounting, processing, analysis and reconciliation
Must be very organized & detail oriented
Excellent time management skills
Thorough knowledge of accounting processes and internal controls
Proficient computer skills, with an emphasis in Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well within a team environment
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
EXPERIENCE:
1 to 3 years experience is required.
