Typical task breakdown:
• Support the manufacturing facility to rapidly resolve light fabrications quality and velocity issue
• Work on longer term engineering changes to improve quality and velocity.
Interaction with team:
• Teamwork with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
• Fast paced.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
• Bachelor''s degree in engineering required but open to Associate’s Degree with 10+ years of experience if the candidate is the right one.
• 5-7 years’ experience required.
Technical Skills
(Required)
• CAD modeling (PTC Creo preferred).
• FEA (Creo Simulate preferred).
• Cost modeling experience.
• Design for manufacturing experience.
• APQP experience.
Soft Skills
(Required)
• Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively in cross functional teams
• Experience collaborating with suppliers.
• Team player and detail oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
