Job Description

Position Highlights:

Position: Unit Secretary

Location: Highland Park

Full Time/Part Time: Full time

Hours: 40 hours per week, M-F, Daytime hours, no weekends

What you will need:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience: 2+ years of administrative or receptionist experience preferred.

Skills: Computer proficiency and word processing skills preferred

What you will do:

Coordinate non-clinical duties of the nursing unit

Enter patient charges in computer

Coordinate patient flow of admissions and discharges

Order supplies

Customer service to patients, families, nurses, physicians and other support departments

Answer phones and relay messages as appropriate

Proactively identifies need for service recovery and follow up of resolution
