Job Summary
This position is responsible for identifying technical security vulnerabilities by conducting application analysis, network analysis, and scanning. Reporting security vulnerabilities and the risks those vulnerabilities present to vice presidents, managers, and other technical individuals. Recommending mitigating solutions to remediate risk associated with vulnerabilities, maintaining knowledge of cybersecurity trends and changing technologies, and providing recommendations for adaptation of new technologies for vulnerability monitoring; providing management with vulnerability assessments and security briefings to advise them of critical and high-risk vulnerabilities that may affect customer, or corporate security objectives.

NOTE:This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree and 2 years of IT security Experience OR 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the following: problem resolution and customer relations.
Excellent verbal communications skills and concise written communication skills.
Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
Perform threat & vulnerability assessments for HCSC systems.
Create risk advisories for HCSC's technologies.
Learn to identify information security vulnerabilities in enterprise information technology assets and quantify the risk they pose to the enterprise.
Develop and maintain metrics, reports and presentations on risk analysis services for inclusion on reports to multiple technical and business audiences.
Learn the cybersecurity tools in use.
Establish relationships with teams across the organization.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
