HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

The Product Consultant will report to the Product Manager in the Product and Strategy Department. This role is a a subject matter expert that supports go-to-market activities, business strategies, and product development activities. This role is deeply connected with customers, buyers, and front-line employees to understand demand, utilization, pain points, and key decision drivers. They develop, in partnership with business/strategy leaders, recommendations and business cases for change; they partner with sales and marketing to respond to RFPs, provide thought-pieces, and advance efforts that deliver outcomes. This role reports to the product manager and offers support for strategic initiatives and go-to-market needs.

Strategic & Partnership

  • Partners with sales and account management to support retention, as well as new and retention sales opportunities
  • Partners with marketing to develop thought-leadership artifacts
  • Develops business cases and strategic assessments for projects that impact product, including vendor and partnership reviews
  • Market/Customer/Competitive intelligence gathering, analysis, and distribution to appropriate parties
  • Partners with the product manager to gather/analysis product profitability, utilization, and other key metrics that support decision making
  • Assesses white space, market segmentation, and demand profiles of potential growth opportunities
  • Analyzes and assesses opportunities for growth, margin expansion, and improved monetization opportunities; supports product team in prioritization


Development

  • Consults with design, product and technology teams, bringing market and customer lens to development teams


Project management

  • Coordinates across the enterprise or teams to advance strategic projects
  • Other duties as assigned
