Position Summary

Central Contractors Service, located in Alsip, IL is seeking a motivated and organized Aerial Lifts Dispatcher. They will provide logistical support to direct the delivery of aerial equipment, and ensure the on time delivery of aerial lifts and support equipment to job sites. This is a full-time, exempt position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions

• Keep records, logs, and schedules of the vehicles they monitor and control, and the actions they take
• Coordinate communications between customers, sales force, truck drivers and affiliated branches to ensure the on-time delivery of aerial lifts and support equipment
• Maintaining correct files for Safety compliance, DOT/FMCSA regulations and Insurance requirements.
• Ensure company drivers maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
• Monitor all annual inspections of aerial equiop[ment. Coordinate with the Service Department to schedule inspection prior to expiration.
• Submit billing and payroll information to other departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed
• Able to sit for longs periods of time
• Able to use phone, computer and other office equipment
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with NexGen fleet management software is a plus.
