Job Description
Use AutoCAD, Bentley Microstation V8i, Bluebeam Revu, to create engineered CAD files in clients preferred format; apply client standards, national standards (NESC, IEEE & IEC) and applicable state and federal safety, regulatory compliance requirements, and construction codes; research current market trends and read new scientific and white papers on emerging technologies; perform various types of electrical load calculations to design AC & DC system drawings for both electrical substations and electric vehicle charge stations; design electrical layout and elevation drawings for high voltage electrical substations; review construction and procurement bill of material and cost estimate documents; develop program procedures and deliverable documents; prepare project proposals and statement of work documents for government and commercial entities; coordinate product requirements with vendors and reach custom solutions to meet the needs of a given project; provide both onsite and offsite construction support for constructability challenges.
