Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL, Chandler, AZ, and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery -e.g.kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
Support Enterprise Change Management Standards
Program level status reporting and key control indicators
Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal
Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion and timeline
Gather and facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders
Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards
Support resource planning for delivery/execution
Accountability and Ownership and self-sufficient to be able to work with minimum guidance
Act as the project subject matter expert to support delivery deadlines, governance routines, cross project dependencies and budget
Manage change controls for scope, schedule, and budget targets to adhere to bank Change Management policies
Requirements:
Minimum 5 - 7 years of project management experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Strong strategic thinker and proven ability to execute
Superior communication skills, ability to navigate in a matrix management model and influence across multiple organization levels
Strong relationship management and organizational skills along with ability to identify and prioritize work load
Ability to effectively convey complex information concisely
Ability to interact with business leaders, external vendors and internal technology groups
Extensive experience of process release management Knowledge of Agile and waterfall software delivery methodology
Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
Process-oriented; able to navigate bank policies and procedures
Desired Skills:
Experience with JIRA, ALM, PCM/TPAS, PPRT, NEXUS, etc.
PMP Certified and Certified Scrum Master
Pay Range: $63.24 - $71.24
