Service Technician
Hourly Rate: $23.00 per hour / $1,500 Sign-on BONUS! $250.00 monthly bonus potential. Shift: Monday-Friday, 9-5 pm Location: Chicago, IL Check out our story! Click the link below. About the Role: As a Service Technician, you install, maintain, repair, and sometimes move our smart fridges. Smart fridges have two components and you need to be proficient in both: mechanical and technological. This role does require travel at times (10%), as well as driving to locations within 3.5 hours on a weekly basis. Responsibilities as a Service Technician:+ Complete Department of Health Inspections of fridges
+ Building out fridges for Deployment – Fridge Installations, Moves, and Removal
+ Quarterly Audits of devices – Preventive maintenance, check on fridges
+ Other Duties as needed (i.e. Stocking or Removing food on occasion)
Necessary knowledge, skills, and experience:+ Ability to use hand tools such as drills and pliers
+ Ability to use basic technology (use apps for tracking work, and execute basic commands on the OS at the fridge)
+ Valid Driver’s License, Good driving record
+ Experience working with refrigerated vending machines – Preferred
+ Basic experience working with business applications
