Position Title: Material Handler

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

+ Process all aspects of materials using warehouse inventory software

+ Label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer

+ Accurately pick and weigh all shipments

+ Inspect freight and follow appropriate reporting procedures

+ Assist with inventory and cycle counts

+ Rotate and re-stock shelves according to inventory procedures

+ Verify all inbound and outbound materials

+ Provide prompt and accurate customer service

+ Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems

+ Document monthly activities for period end reporting

+ Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts

+ Shrink wrap freight pallets

+ Maintain a clean and save working environment

+ Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience of general warehouse knowledge

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication

+ Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Warehouse Oracle Database Experience is a plus

+ Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds

+ Forklift Certification preferred

+ Ability to work under minimal supervision

+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers
