Overview and Essential Functions

Working closely with the Operations Controller; a successful Business Analyst shall help implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to management. The Business Analyst will be detail oriented, self-disciplined & motivated, and one that strives for continuous improvement. At a minimum, this position requires a good working knowledge of accounting/business practices, ability to use a computer (Microsoft Excel), and an understanding of how to analyze data.

+ the ability to coordinate the activities of others

+ the ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues

+ excellent manual dexterity

+ the ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems

+ the ability to analyze and enter data with high degree of accuracy and completeness

+ the ability to organize workload to determine priority of duties

+ the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed

Responsibilities:

+ Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments

+ Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures

+ Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project

+ Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience

+ Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)

+ Authorized to work in the United States

+ Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check

Workplace Environment and Physical Demands

To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasks and/or other office functions. Work is performed indoors and in a typical office environment.
