PLEASE NOTE: This position reports to our warehouse distribution center located in the CITY OF WEST CHICAGO (zip code 60185) – NOT the city of Chicago. West Chicago is located approximately 35-40 miles WEST of the City of Chicago*

The Fabricator position is responsible for supporting efficient, accurate, and organized operations in our yard facility. This position is responsible for building gates, other structures, welding, as well as maintaining orderly inventory and a safe work environment. The Fabricator is primarily focused on the following objectives:

+ Support efficient daily operations, production schedules in shop, yard facilities

+ Build gates and other needed components for fence projects

Role and Responsibilities

+ Build gates and other needed components, structures for fence projects

+ Follow production schedule to complete orders on time

Required Skills

+ A self-starter with a strong work ethic

+ Ability to prioritize tasks

+ Maintain an organized work environment

+ Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and technical drawings

+ Previous experience using various power tools for construction projects

+ Maintain a current and valid driver’s license, including class C license

+ Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds

+ Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions

+ Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully

+ Current and valid welding certificate

Preferred Skills:

+ Operations, yard management experience (fence background, a plus)

+ Current and valid forklift certification
