Job Description
Building Engineer
$30 – 35/hr
Naperville, IL
A commercial facility with multiple office spaces located in Naperville, IL is seeking multiple building engineers to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.
Previous experience in HVAC and building maintenance is required for this opportunity.
Description:
+ Operate, maintain, and log all HVAC and MEP equipment.
+ Complete tenant service requests, and develop and maintain positive tenant relations through prompt, courteous response to tenant requests.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, plumbing and electrical systems, as directed by their supervisor.
+ Duties include, but are not limited to changing filters, coil cleaning, greasing motors, replacing light bulbs & ballasts, inspecting/adjusting belts, and regular inspections of equipment
+ Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns.
+ Review elevator maintenance records and confirm elevator maintenance is performed per national agreement. Inspect condition of elevator machine rooms.
+ Report any elevator deficiencies to their supervisor.
+ Troubleshoot, evaluate and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of building maintenance
+ Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
+ Applicable boiler experience

Environment:
Class A property with multi tenants. Office building, coffee shop on site. 70% of the day will be spent in the Plant with boilers and 30% in the building performing facilities repairs.
