The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As a City Scholar – Part Time Student for John Deere located in Chicago, IL you will:

Identify, analyze, and apply information technology and business practices to support the Order Management Equipment team

Be responsible for assisting with the deployment, communication, and monitoring of web-based solutions which enable dealers to manage their inventory and facilitate sales to end customers

Ensure our tech stack is taking advantage of the most current and secure technologies available

This position is available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

Available to work during the academic year 12-20 hours weekly between the business hours of 8 AM-5 PM Central

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, React, SQL

Ability to independently identify gaps, develop a plan, and propose solutions

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Accepted into the City Scholars program at University of Illinois
