Job Description

Will be mostly remote but will occasionally go onsite for team meetings. Must live local to the office in Illinois.

Looking for:

-Minimum 1 year of purchasing, inventory, or purchase order experience

-Intermediate MS Excel skills (v lookups, pivot tables)

-HS Diploma or GED

-Understand supply chain concepts

NICE TO HAVEs

-Bachelors Degree

-Experience using Power BI

-Experience supporting sales teams

Description:

This role will provide support to the Purchasing Operations buyers. They will be responsible for managing aged inventory, updating system notes, following up on outstanding items, and updating daily reports. This role could also find themselves helping to provide out of office coverage to my two drop ship teams.

· Proactively work to reduce on-hand-aged inventory

· Manage existing aged inventory by working closely with the sales organization and buyers

· Maintain daily Purchasing Operations reports, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate

· Provide out-of-office coverage for drop ship/purchasing team

·Updating reports

-Maintaining aging reports

-Responding to sales requests

-Very minimal purchasing duties – but could eventually acquire more purchasing-related duties after more exposure

-Providing administrative/clerical support to buyers

-No negotiations
