Job Description
Aerotek is looking for a Brake Press Machinist in Pontiac, IL
Pay: $24-$29/hr
Description:
+ Need to be able to run the Brake as well as edit, create, and write programs
+ Assists with operation of press brake, learning operation of machine; loading programs
+ Assists with machine set up
+ Assists with dimensional inspections
+ Assists with detection of and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
+ Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them
+ Maintains satisfactory performance and attendance
+ Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate to departmental standards including quality goals
+ Performs job in a safe manner by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to run, setup, and program brake press
Replacing experienced team lead so lead experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
