Job Description
Our client is a well-known construction company that has been in the Rockford area for over 100 years!
They are looking for a Class A CDL Driver Full-time.
Description:
Minimum Class C, prefer a Class A CDL along with heavy construction equipment experience.
Have to be able to pull a trailer, move heavy equipment onto the trailer such as excavator, skid loader, and other equipment on a work site, tie down equipment, snow plow in the winter months and have to be okay with working at all hours in the winter (would coincide with regular work schedule and if up all night plowing, will be able to flex schedule). Will be returning equipment to the yard, keeping track and organizing the yard, completing small maintenance on trailers (making sure lights work, signals, etc.). Manual truck experience a plus but not required.
- Delivers supplies/materials to superintendents in the field as needed
- Pick up materials at supply houses
- Help load and unload supplies
- Operates motor driven equipment such as forklift and skid loader
- Ability to lift 80 pounds
- Daily maintenance of shop
- Assist with snow removal in the winter
Compensation:
+ Starting at $24 – 25/hr. depending on experience
