Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Program Specialist to join the Cat® Certified Rebuild (CCR) team.

+ You will have the responsibility to develop new CCR products, support dealer inquiries, reviewing and ensuring dealer adherence to CCR standards by performing dealer audits, conduct dealer training, support CCR enrollments, and implement process improvements.

+ The successful candidate will serve as an experienced contributor on assignments that are complex in nature, working with individuals and teams across global sites and Cat dealers.

Additional Info :

+ Domestic and International travel is required. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of working time.

+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

+ This is a hybrid position s located in Peoria, IL.

What You Will Do:

As a Program Specialist you will manage and consult on service data and program requirements for the Cat Certified Rebuild program within the Global Service Department. Tasks will include:

+ Executing dealer CCR process verifications (audits) consisting of researching parts, dealer work orders and results analysis. Conducting specific dealer training based on interpretation of audit results.

+ Managing the planning, organization, implementation CCR new model requests and product additions to the CCR program.

+ Supporting the CCR enrollment process.

+ Providing regular, concise & effective communication to a range of stakeholders, peers, and dealer personnel.

+ Growing the CCR Program by developing or maintaining the CCR machine or engine product templates for each product family and part group assignments. This will require collaborating with the respective product group service engineers and verticals such as CI, RI or E/T.

+ This role will focus on process improvements related to automated authoring and integration with other repair option development or quoting processes.

+ Collaborate with Cat Insurance Services and Global Warranty on establishing coverages for both warranty and Equipment Protection Plans (EPP).

+ You will determine the guidance for how service magazine articles are identified as required or optional for CCR requirements to ensure the performance and second life of Cat equipment.

+ Manage and consult on service data and program requirements for the CCR program.

+ Be capable of understanding technical issues as they arise and is considered both an internal and external CCR technical expert and is responsible for maintaining and developing all CCR requirements and resolution on technical inquiries.

+ The role will require continuous learning on the Caterpillar product line.

What You Have:

Technical Excellence

+ Strong mechanical aptitude (Marketing, Engineering or Technical field degree); though other qualifications or experience are equally valued.

+ Knowledge of Cat machine and engines, comprising of systems such as powertrain, hydraulic, electrical, cooling, fuel, braking, steering etc.

+ Good understanding of machine components such as engine, transmission, torque converter, driveline, axle, differential, final drive, etc.

+ Understands the Caterpillar machine and engine parts product structure.

+ Good understanding of Reuse & Salvage Guidelines.

+ Experience leveraging Service Magazine Articles, Special Instructions, PIPs, PSPs.

+ Experience with dealer service data, SMCS codes, and standard jobs.

+ Experience gained in service options development using SOC.

+ Experience with Cat Calculator Web.

+ Experience developing CCR required parts lists for quoting.

+ Experience with reading and interpreting Caterpillar engineering prints.

+ Experience with SIS, RWA, EDS, NPR, HVC.

+ Excellent communications skills & teamwork.

+ Able to collaborate & manage interactions on behalf of Caterpillar with Cat dealers.

+ Experience with collaborating with dealers and providing training.

+ Good understanding of component rebuild processes, engine rebuilds, what it takes to perform a full machine rebuild.
