A Mechanical Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in the Decatur, IL area. This role will be the first responder for Large Mining Truck and Large Wheel Loader manufacturing issues.

responsibilities:
+ Engineering changes for manufacturing issues and current product field issues.
+ Support the manufacturing facility to rapidly resolve light fabrications quality and velocity issue
+ Work on longer term engineering changes to improve quality and velocity.

+ Experience level: Experienced
+ Minimum 5 years of experience
+ Education: Associates (required)
