Overview

The Workday Product Manager is responsible for the governance, planning, and execution activities surrounding Workday Financial, SCM, and HCM Systems. They are responsible for aligning the technology and business team's strategies, systems analysis, requirement definitions, systems integration, testing, and support of Workday in alignment with key business objectives. The Workday Product manager is also responsible for the daily duties and assigned tasks of the Workday System Administrators.
Responsibilities

Drive Workday application roadmap at an enterprise level in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve the product vision and strategically aligned prioritization.
Builds close relationships with the functional teams to understand requirements to innovate, grow, improve efficiencies, address compliance requirements, complete change request and enhancement projects.
Apply agile methodologies to manage and evaluate the Workday backlog, of change requests, enhancements and drive prioritization of items and release cycles.
Plan and drive Workday's semi-annual system releases and new module implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Build and advocate for organizational processes and culture to achieve team and business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Workday System Administrators; drive alignment of prioritized responsibilities, manage capacity, skills development and team member retention.
Establish a culture of continuous improvement and implement feedback loops with all stakeholders.
Partner with department leads to develop business cases inclusive of project budgets, evaluating risk levels, legacy system impacts, stability, organizational policies and reliability.
Drive the execution of new Workday integrations and coordinates with functional leaders, system administrators, and vendors.
Apply creative solutions to design workflows and procedures with strong attention to detail.
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Establish strong working relationships with Executive Sponsors, department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Exhibits leadership by confidence in self and others, inspires and motivates others to perform well, effectively influences actions and opinions of others.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Requires professional level knowledge of Workday system configuring, product design, and supporting software applications.
Completion of a Baccalaureate degree & minimum of eight years' experience in a leadership role in information systems (Master's degree is a plus)
OR Associate's degree in relevant field of study and minimum of ten years' experience in leadership role in information management
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
ACP Agile, Product Management or PMP preferred
Workday functional certifications (HCM, Financial)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of experience supporting Workday.
Experience utilizing integrations, leading system customizations, migrating data, and testing.
Prior working history as a Workday Product Owner, Senior Systems Administrator or similar leadership role.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong leadership with direct reports and indirect stakeholder teams
